Security Guard – Construction Site (Birmingham City Center)

Together FM is looking for a reliable and dedicated Security Guard to work at a construction site in Birmingham City Center, England. The role involves protecting the machinery on site and ensuring the safety and security of the construction site.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hourly patrols around the construction site to ensure the security of machinery and property.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized personnel to the control room.
  • Check in with the control room every hour to report on the status of the site.
  • Provide support to the on-site team in the event of an emergency or incident.
  • Maintain accurate records of any incidents, accidents or unusual occurrences.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • SIA License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Physically fit to carry out regular patrols of the site.
  • A positive attitude towards health and safety.
  • Able to work 12-hour shifts, with 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off.
  • Ability to work in Birmingham City Center, England.
